Trinity
																																																																																																																																																																																																																	      College is said to be the largest university court in the world, was
																																																																																																																																																																																																																	      built between 1593 and 1615. The Master of Trinity is still appointed by
																																																																																																																																																																																																																	      the Crown, an unique distinction.
																																																																																																																																																																																																																	      
Market Hill, looking across to Great St Mary's with King's College Chapel beyond. The word 'hill' to describe a flat place seems peculiar to Cambridge.

Queens' College. The Mathematical Bridge is supposed to have been constructed originally on geometric principles, without nails. It has since been rebuilt, with nails. The
																																																																																																																																																																																																																	    Senate House  is the administrative centre of the University. By tradition
																																																																																																																																																																																																																	    the exam results are posted outside it.
																																																																																																																																																																																																																	      
 Corpus Christi College. The Old Court of Corpus Christi was built in
																																																																																																																																																																																																																	the 14th century. Marlowe and Fletcher, the Elizabethan playwrights studied here. 
Also of note is Peterhouse.
																																																																																																																																																																																																																	      The main court at Peterhouse, Cambridge's oldest college, was faced with
																																																																																																																																																																																																																	      stone in the mid-18th century. The chapel, in the centre, was built about
																																																																																																																																																																																																																	      1630.
